Musamat lives in village Ghulam Qadir Golo of district Kashmore, Sindh with 3 children, and a mentally retarded husband. She received goats under NPGP, selling milk is not only the source of income but also feed her family. Overtime, she aspires to sell goats’ offspring and grow her dairy business.

34 year old Shahzadi belongs to village Ibrahim Mirbahar of district Sujawal, Sindh. Under NPGP, she received 3 goats to start a small livestock farm. Overtime she aspires to increase production levels for selling the goat milk to others and earning a good living.

Munazza, a resident of Tehsil Chobara in district Layyah, Punjab is a skilled mat producer. NPGP helped to expand her business by providing her reed supplies which increased her production and income.

Qamar Zaman resides in Bara Khel, a remote village in district Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He used to drive a rented rickshaw and would only earn about Rs. 450 per day. After receiving a rickshaw cart through asset provision under NPGP, he is earning up to Rs. 900 per day.

Housewife-turned-entrepreneur Hameed Fatima from district Layyah, Punjab recieved supplies under NPGP to start a small tuck shop. She now manages to earn Rs. 600 per day and is able to save Rs.100 daily.

39 year old Kassunbah lives in village Dhabi Bheel, district Tharparker, Sindh in a family of 8 people. Under NPGP, she received supplies for her shop through which her income increased to about Rs. 700 to Rs. 800 daily.

Eligible households being identified for NPGP assistance through participatory community process in union councils Apozai, Takai and Garda Babar of district Zhob, Balochistan.
