Geographical Coverage

The National Poverty Graduation Programme activities are planned to be implemented in 23 districts comprising 379 Union Councils across 4 provinces of Pakistan.

NPGP’s rigorous poverty mapping methodologies identify where the poorest communities are located and what they need. Using the multidimensional poverty index, addressing economic, social, and institutional capacities; districts have been ranked according to the highest poverty ratio and intensity, as per the Geography of Poverty Report rankings which are reflected in the NPGP design.
