Samia Liaquat Ali Khan has worked in the international human rights and development sector for over 20 years, with a focus on programme design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. She is currently working as Senior Group Head, Graduation at Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund.
Her educational background includes an MSc in Development Studies (University of London) as well as a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University (New York). She has successfully led regional and global development programmes that incorporate rights-based approaches to poverty reduction and has managed diverse teams of people across the globe.
Samia has undertaken programme evaluations for Womankind Worldwide, Sightsavers and International Planned Parenthood Foundation (IPPF), among others. Publications include ‘Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers: failing minorities and indigenous peoples’, MRG London, June 2010.
